CONTEMPO WILL host its Chamber Music Summer School in Kylemore Abbey and this year there is an additional week focusing on wind instruments.
String tuition will be provided by ConTempo. Te guest wind tutors will be Holland’s The Calefax Reed Ensemble, providing courses for flute, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet, bassoon, oboe, cor anglais, oboe d’amore, recorder, and penny whistles.
There are a limited number of places available for both schools and players of Grade 5 standard and over. There are special family rates available.
The String School takes place from June 29 to July 4 and costs €500 and the Wind School takes place from July 7 to 11 and costs €450. Further information is available at www.galwayensemble.ie
