Learn more about NUI Galway's accredited MBA programme

NUI Galway’s AMBA and AACSB accredited MBA programme, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year, will host a virtual MBA open evening on April 21 at 6pm. The open evening is a great opportunity to learn about the programme and to meet MBA faculty, students, and graduates.

Recent MBA graduate Ciara Greaney MBA FCCA PMP, regional controller and global leasing owner at Avaya, said: "I was a financial controller in a US multinational when I started the MBA. As I had a finance-focused role, I wanted to use the MBA to expand my strategic knowledge, which would allow me to understand the business outside the functional boundaries of finance. The structure of the programme made it very easy to apply the learnings to my day job immediately, and really opened up new opportunities for growth within my role. Halfway through the programme I took on a large project, was promoted, and I have since expanded my role within the company.

"For the capstone project of the MBA programme, we were required to develop and implement a project within our companies. I designed a proposal which has now been implemented and has led to increased compliance, operational efficiency, and significant cost savings for the company, so there have been tangible benefits for both them and me."

An MBA is the one of the most prestigious business degrees globally, and the AMBA (Association of MBAs ) accredited NUI Galway MBA is one of the leading programmes in the country. For further information visit www.nuigalway.ie/mba
