Billy Clery's team impressed at Eamonn Deacy Park

GALWAY WFC 3 BOHEMIANS 1

This was an encouraging afternoon for Galway WFC, who claimed an important WNL win at Eamonn Deacy Park.

Billy Clery's charges seized control on the half hour mark when Rachel Kearns pounced to score.

Galway added a second goal five minutes later as Kearns' industry enabled Kate Slevin to net a nice goal from distance.

After the restart Galway struck a third in the 50th minute as Lynsey McKey connected with Chloe Singleton's cross.

Bohemians responed in the 70th minute when a Chloe Darby corner rattled the Galway net.

Late on Singleton was red carded for a second bookable offence, but the home team closed out the deal.
