GLUAS has been cooperating with a team on Coventry City Council and a research team in Warwick University, who are developing VLR for launch in Coventry city. Testing is about to start there later this year.

“The webinar will inform you of the very real improvements a Very Light Rail system can bring to Galway and to aspects of our lives and how it will contribute in a meaningful way in addressing the problems of congestion and climate change,” said GLUAS chair Brendan Holland.

Admission to the webinar is free but places are limited. To register go to https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/galway-very-light-rail-webinar-tickets-146997446319. For more information email [email protected].
