Flirt FM marks 300th broadcast of Trivia Matters

The show for quirky stories has been broadcasting since 2011 and its still going strong

TRIVIA MATTERS, the weekly radio show on NUI Galway base community and alternative radio station, Flirt FM 101.3, featuring fun topics, witty chat, and great music, will mark it's 300th broadcast this week.

Every Friday at 2pm, presenter Brian Currie and his studio guests, wrestle with quirky stories ranging from police apprehending a five-year-old motorist to jelly bean factory workers eating into the profits, while listeners are encouraged to text the studio with their 'Pet Peeves' at 2.30pm. Recent 'Pet Peeves' include poor internet coverage, dodgy housemates and queue jumping.

Trivia Matters has aired every Friday afternoon on Flirt FM since September 27 2011. It is produced and presented by Brian Currie. Current guests include Oxford native Stan Quarterman, published author Aoife Burke, rebellious retiree Nuala Forde, and courteous cyclist Padraic Leonard.

Trivia Matters was voted Best Magazine Show on Flirt FM and received a Silver Achievement Award from CRAOL - The Community Radio Forum of Ireland.
