Introduce children to the world of music

MUSIC MAKING For Families is a series of workshops for children to discover the world of music through songs, games, and listening.

The workshops are hosted by Adventures in Music in conjunction with the National Concert Hall’s Learn and Explore Programme, and the Town Hall Theatre.

Classes will be led by Nico Brown, mandolin player and leader of the NCH Education and Community Outreach Sessions. Edel Fox, TG4 Young Musician of the Year 2004, will join on concertina.

The workshops take place on Saturday in the Westside Library, Seamus Quirk Road. The 10am to 11am class is for those aged six months to three years. The 11.30am to 12.30pm class is for those aged three to five. The 1pm to 2pm class is for those aged five to eight. No prior musical experience is required.
