Joe Rooney and a Christmas comedy cabaret

An evening of socially distant laughter awaits at Massimo on William Street West

LAUGHTER AND craic in the (socially distanced ) company of other people awaits on Tuesday, December 15, when Joe Rooney of Father Ted and Kilnascully fame, performs at Massimo.

Joe, along with MC Karl Spain, will perform at a dinner show at the William Street West venue. There will be two sittings available, at 7pm and 9pm.

A stalwart of the Irish comedy scene, Joe Ronney, winner of Best Comedian at the 2017 Pure M Awards, has headlined venues across Ireland and Britain and Ireland, and played China, Kansas, Dubai, Moscow and Bahrain. He regularly does improv with Dublin Comedy Improv at the International Bar and guests with Stephen Frost Improv AllStars.

He is best known as Father Damo in Father Ted and Timmy in the long running RTÉ sitcom Killinaskully. He was also a winner of Ireland's Celebrity Come Dine With Me, and performed in a theatre version of The Shawshank Redemption with Omid Djalili.
