Galway-headquartered Supermac’s is applying for planning permission to construct a new Plaza on the outskirts of Limerick city.
The Limerick application will be made inside the next week and will create 100 jobs with an investment of approx €10m.
This follows on from an application for a Plaza in Ennis, the opening of a new Plaza in Portlaoise in August plus a new franchise, with the McKeown family, in Kells in October.
All in all, it will be an investment of over €30m and the creation of over 400 jobs (subject to planning ), throughout the country - all since the pandemic started.
Once planning has been granted, it takes between 6-12 months for a Plaza to be built.
