HSE West must work with the Covid Taskforce to establish drive thru vacation centres ready in the city to roll out the Covid-19 vaccine as soon as it becomes available.
This is the view of Fianna Fáil Galway City East councillor, Alan Cheevers, who is calling for the east, west, and centre of the city to have one such centre each. He is calling for suitable sites to be identified. He said: "We must be ready with a coordinated approach to give people the vaccine as soon as possible."
