Artist Lorraine Fletcher, based in Loughrea, Galway creates vivid and fabulously striking contemporary art.
Her elegant wildlife-inspired pieces are original and unique artworks composed of acrylic on canvas and wood. Also available is a new and luxurious range of limited edition prints which is embellished with gold and copper leaf.
The four paintings featured are entitled "Together We Stand, Sweet Nothings, Harmony & Halo Hare". One of the originals "Harmony" was featured in #BTCalltoart, Brown Thomas Dublin.
A selection of art was displayed in the newly refurbished restaurant Hugh Browns, all of which were created during the March 2020 lockdown.
Her work also raised funds for The Jack & Jill Foundation online event, Incognito which takes place every year."2020 has been a year none of us expected, but having my art to focus on and to just keep creating has proved to be one of my busiest years.
