The funeral of the young man killed in a single vehicle crash on the Dunmore to Glenamaddy Road earlier this week is to take place today.
Mark Killilea (29 ), the son of former Galway East TD and MEP Mark Killilea and his wife Anne, tragically lost his life when his car went off the road and hit a fence at Lissyconnor at around 6.30am last Monday. He was the driver and sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at Roscommon Hospital.
A private removal to the Sacred Heart Church in Belclare will take place today for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Claretuam Cemetery.
