Toyota has announced a range of offers to help drivers change from diesel into lower emission cars, like self-charging hybrid electric cars.
Finance contributions of up to €3,000, APRs from 2.9 per cent, trade-in boosters up to €2,500 for non-finance customers, and three years free servicing as standard are now available to new Toyota hybrid buyers.
Customers who purchase a new Toyota before February 28, 2021, will benefit from a two per cent VAT reduction. With lower VRT from January on the majority of Toyota’s range, Toyota says there has never been a better time to make the switch to a Toyota hybrid, including Ireland’s best-selling car, the Toyota Corolla hybrid.
Toyota boasts of having the lowest CO2 output of any mass market car brand, and its hybrids sold in 2019 will save more than 60,000 tonnes from entering the atmosphere in their lifetime. Furthermore, Toyota is considered to be the number one car brand in Ireland for tackling climate change as evidenced by the recent national iReach study on Sustainability and Climate Action.
