Burkeway Homes' latest residential development of quality new homes at Fánán has proved to be hugely successful with joint sales agents DNG Maxwell Heaslip Leonard and Sherry FitzGerald reporting that all 46 homes have been bought by enthusiastic buyers.
Phase 1 had quickly sold out ‘off plan’ when the first houses were released at the end of July. On the back of these strong sales, the showhouse in Fánán was opened on October 3 and received a positive response from the market. The remaining homes were promptly snapped up. The purchasers consisted of a mix of people trading up, down-sizing as well as first time buyers. The sales are evidence of the quality, design, and location of these homes.
Fánán is situated on Letteragh Road in an established suburban area on the west side of Galway city, approximately 2.5km from the city centre, and is close to NUI Galway, UHG, Salthill Promenade, and Galway Golf Club.

In total there will be 101 units provided to the undersupplied Galway market when the scheme is fully complete, comprising 46 three and four bedroom houses and 55 one, two, and three bedroom high end apartments. Construction is well advanced on the housing element of the scheme, while the Burkeway team will be commencing on the apartments in the coming weeks, which will provide more new homes for the local market.
A major attraction together with the location is the quality amenity spaces in the development, with ample landscaped, open green spaces, pocket parks, an all weather 4G playing surface, and children’s playground all on site.
