Galway's Daithi Burke is the only player in doubt for the start of this year's hurling championship action.
The 27-years-old All Star, who suffered a calf injury while playing for his club Turloughmore, remains in rehab, according to Galway manager Shane O'Neill.
"He is in rehab at the moment, so we are not sure yet," said O'Neill at the Galway GAA's Centre of Excellence in Loughgeorge this week.
However, O'Neill believes his current crop of players are in "good nick" after the club championship.
"It will be different this time round, having viewed the club championship games," he says. "It was very competitive, some of the matches were really good, and we saw an awful lot of players across the 24 teams and some intermediate as well which we distributed among the management group.
"From the panel point of view, different guys are coming in and out, so it is fluid to a certain extent."
Although he says "it seems like a different year at this stage", the squad has been working hard over the last couple of weeks with a view to the championship going ahead.
"All we can do is focus on ourselves. We have been looking at our own performances in the league and seeing who is in club form, and the boys have brought that form into training over the last couple of weeks, so hopefully it will come to fruition."
O'Neill says the management team has also been watching how Covid protocols are handled.
"I was trying to keep an eye on what protocols would be in place for matches. We've been given the match regulations already from Croke Park, but it's nice to see on screen how it is working out, so from a management point of view and looking at what is happening on the line, etc, and in the water break, and various bits and pieces."
"The players are used to the water break through the club championship, as a management we are not, so it something new for us, Form the club championship matches it seemed to affect momentum in different ways, so it will be interesting to see how it goes."
