Theft of bike in city
On Wednesday September 23 at around 7.30pm, a black and white Cube bike was stolen from the bike rack at Eyre Square in Galway city centre.

Burglary in Ballybane
On Friday September 25 between midnight and 7.30am, a house was broken into in Beal Srutha, Ballybane.

Clonbur break-in
Between 12 noon on Friday September 25 and 1pm on Saturday 26 a property was broken into in Dooray, Clonbur.
During the break in a blue Yamaha 8 horse power, two stroke boat engine was stolen. Anyone with any information in relation to this burglary or anyone who may have been offered this item for sale is asked to contact Clifden Garda Station on 095-21021.
Gardaí in Galway are urging boat owners to take safety precautions to protect their property by making it more challenging and less attractive for the would be thieves. Always record and keep serial numbers for all property.
House window smashed in Doughiska
At around 2.40am on Sunday September 27, the front door windows were smashed in a house in Tur Uisce in Doughiska.

Criminal damage in Beal Srutha
On Sunday September 27 just before 3am, the glass on the front door of a house in Beal Srutha was smashed.

Bus damaged in Oranmore
Between 3.30pm on Tuesday September 22 and 10am on Wednesday 23, damage was caused to a 03 G registration Mercedes Bus that was parked on the Old Dublin Road in Oranmore.

Gardai would again like to remind the public not to share personal and financial information over the phone or on line.
Financial institutions or Government agencies will not ask for banking details to be disclosed over the phone. Gardai have been made aware of members of the public receiving phone calls in relation to tax refunds.
Members of the public are advised to under no circumstances share their details over the phone and anyone who feels he/she may have been the victim of such scams should report it to his/her financial institution and local Garda Station immediately.
