Galway Hospice is asking the people of Galway to donate the price of a coffee to help support its care.
For the past 30 years, Hospice Coffee Mornings have taken place across Galway in September to help raise funds for hospice services. This year, Covid-19 means some events cannot take place, but the public can still donate the price of their morning coffee to help hospice care.
“Thousands of people support their local Hospice Coffee Morning Together with Bewley’s each year,” explains Charlene Hurley, Director of Fundraising and Communications at Galway Hospice. “Covid-19 mean that we may not all be able to come together for a cuppa, but you can still help support Galway Hospice services by donating the cost of a coffee.”
All funds raised help to ensure the free delivery of Galway Hospice services including Inpatient Care, Community Palliative Care and Bereavement Support to those diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses and to their families.
