Learn to create and edit 2D drawings at home using a free Student Edition of AutoCAD. Practice with step by step exercises, video tutorials and create a portfolio.
Attend a weekly workshop in our Training Centre. Duration: 15 weeks, with approximately 30 hours of practice and lessons each week.
Certification: City & Guilds 7689-05 Award in 2D Computer Aided Design.

Leaving Certificate standard of education with a Pass in a Technical Drawing / Design & Communication Graphics and Maths or have achieved an equivalent level of relevant industrial experience or training.
Competency in performing conventional draughting / technical drawing tasks.
Good spatial aptitude and form perception.
Good computer, numerical and literacy skills with a good standard of written and spoken English.
You must have a PC or laptop capable of running AutoCAD 2020 with Microsoft Windows 7 / 8 / 10 operating system, or Apple macOS Catalina v10.15 / Mojave v10.14 / High Sierra V10.13.
You must also have a broadband connection capable of viewing 1080 HD content and downloading the software.
