Have you already signed up for the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin this June but have not decided to raise funds for a particular charity?
If so, the COPE Galway team which raises much needed funds for some of the most vulnerable people in the community is seeking people to become part of their team.
“As a member of our team we will provide you with coach transfer from Galway to Dublin and back on the day of the race,” explains a spokesperson for the charity. “The bus will leave from Galway early on Monday morning and can collect people along the pre organised route returning to Galway that evening.”
All funds raised will be used in Galway to provide services and supports for women and children experiencing domestic violence, people who are homeless and older people living at home.
