There is going to be an almighty rumble in the jungle this Bank Holiday Monday night — May 4 from 8.30pm at Central Park, as some of Galways finest bar staff take part in the first heat of Central Parks cocktail competition "Shake Off", at the club.
Prepare to get shaken and stirred as cocktails come to life with the competition kicking off on stage at 9pm sharp. With the pride of some of Galways leading bars at stake the competition will be fierce and standards will be exceptionally high, as the contestants battle not just for glory for their bar but also for the €2,000 prize for the overall winner.
Among the bars taking part in the first heat are the Living Room, Halo, Lohans, The Skeff., The Radisson Hotel, The Twelve Hotel, Coyotes, Tamarind Restaurant and Da Robertos Restaurant. The second heat takes place on Monday May 11 with the House Hotel, Tigh Neachtains [Last years winner], The Dail, No 8 on the Docks, The Townhouse bar, Padraicins of Furbo, O Connells and The Kings Head.
Come join the contestants and lend your support to your favourite bar, entry is free to all and those present may stay on in the club afterwards.
