The Galway Camogie championships hot up this weekend with four semi-finals down for decision.
The stage is set for a cracker senior camogie clash when Athenry take on the All Ireland champions Sarsfields on Saturday at 1pm, followed by Ardrahan against Oranmore Maree at 4.30pm - both taking place at Gort GAA.
The intermediate semi-finals sees Clarinbridge taking on Pearses in Kilbeacanty at 6pm, while Kinvara/St Coleman's face Ahascragh/Caltra in New Inn on Sunday at 12 noon.
In action last weekend Mullagh retained their senior A status with a 2-15 to 1-6 win over Davitts, who will play senior B for the 2021 season. Also in the senior B championship, Killimor were 3-12 to 2-8 winers over Capptataggle - the losers relegated to intermediate for next season.
