A creative hub in Galway - for artists, by artists

Art in Mind hosting wire sculpture workshop this weekend

Art in Mind, Galway's new, artist led non-profit organisation, spanning several buildings in the Liosban Industrial Estate, is "dedicated to promoting wellbeing and mental health through creative practice".

The Art in Mind Gallery was founded in 2019 and was originally a space to create community collaborative art projects. In March this year it expanded its gallery space to +400m2 and offers studio spaces for up to 20 artists. Among those involved in the gallery community are Julia Dunin Photography, designer Niamh Daniels, and visual artist and curator Ronan Fahey.

All materials and tools will be provided. The workshop will be in full compliance with social distancing and Covid-19 guidelines. Places are limited and booking is essential via www.glenngibsonsculpture.com

Glenn Gibson's The Observer & The Observed will also be the first Gallery exhibition, launching on September 2. For more information see www.artinmind.ie and www.gofundme.com/f/art-in-mind
