O’Donnellan & Joyce, Ireland’s largest independent auction house, reported a strong turnout at viewings on Saturday last, June 27. Despite the lockdown and the inclement weather on the day, every property reported viewers at each of the allocated viewing times. The Galway property market has reopened and there is a strong demand from intending purchasers, to view new and second hand stock coming up for sale.
O’Donnellan & Joyce has set its property auction for Friday, July 24, at 12 noon in the Harbour Hotel, New Dock Road, Galway, where interested buyers have the option to bid online, over the phone, or to be present in the room. Any prospective bidders will need to pre-register with O’Donnellan & Joyce to be included, and July 24 is promising to be another “summer sizzler” of an auction.
The spike in activity for O’Donnellan & Joyce auctioneers comes after a three-month period of restrictions with the Covid-19 pandemic preventing open property viewings taking place, but now O’Donnellan & Joyce offices are open and viewings are well and truly under way, albeit with strict social distancing in the allocated time slots.
Auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan will be on the podium on Friday, July 24, in the Harbour Hotel and will invite bids from online bidders, phone bidders, and bidders in the room. Intending bidders are reminded to contact the auction team by calling 091 564 212 or by emailing [email protected] as early as possible as bidder deposits and legal paperwork must be completed prior to auction day.
Viewings on all properties are strictly by appointment only with the auction team, as per Government and industry guidelines. Call 091 564 212 to request more information or to book a viewing in the allocated time slot.
