After almost four months of closure, the estate is ready to welcome guests into the historic Victorian Abbey, to enjoy the retail and dining options and to take in the spacious estate as you walk the woodland and lakeshore paths and stroll around the stunning 6.5 acre Victorian Walled Garden.
There has never been a better time to enjoy the beauty of the Kylemore estate as the summer bloom emerges in the Victorian Walled Garden. A controlled flow of visitors through the new visitor experience “From generation to generation” will give you the time and space to fully embrace the richness of Kylemore’s history. Support incredible local suppliers, producers and crafts people in Mitchell’s cafe and the Craft and Design shop.
Meet their Connemara pony foals who were born during lockdown and are eagerly waiting to meet their fans. Reconnect with nature and loved ones in a safe way as you stroll the wide avenues throughout the estate and take in one of the new picnic areas looking out on the Diamond Hill.
Every precaution has been taken to ensure your safety on the estate so you can relax and enjoy a day out in the fresh Connemara air. They ask that their visitors pre-book their tickets online and they thank you for adhering you the guidelines which you will see when you arrive.
