What is your idea of perfect happiness?
In this crisis – to be ‘safe’ and ‘healthy’. AND in my garden at about 4pm and not remotely feeling guilty about a chilled glass of Sauvignon.

May Blood, Baroness Blood, (MBE ) former member of the British House of Lords, where she was a Labour peer between 1999-2018.

Over-thinking things – Can I do that job well? – Are your readers judging the type of person I am?
What is your greatest extravagance?
A summer house about five years ago.

Charabanc Theatre Company (I was one of five founders ) tour to the Soviet Union, 1984.
On what occasion do you lie?
When I don’t want to hurt the feelings of the person I am talking to?
Which living person do you most despise?
President Trump. A dictator in ‘the land of the free’ and he was democratically voted in!
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Being allowed to be creative in a room with other talented artists.
When and where were you happiest?
Summer of 1976 in Ballycastle. An escape from Belfast at the height of the troubles and where I fell in love.
Which talent would you most like to have?
To be able to sing brilliantly.
What is your current state of mind?
Positive and hopeful, otherwise I wouldn’t get up in the morning.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Being invited to the BAFTAs with my 60 sec short, History Unfinished (NI Regional winner, 2008 ).
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?
Any bird! To be able to see the natural world from a distance and s**t on those who pollute it!
What is your most treasured possession?
I cut a lock of my dear mum’s hair after she passed away.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To be from the BAME community and witness the murder of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis.

Any job in the creative industries I am lucky enough to get paid for?

Kindness and a wicked sense of humour.

Kindness and a wicked sense of humour.
