Toyota has announced a range of new offers available for 202 to get the motoring industry back up and running after a challenging two months due to Covid-19.
Toyota has introduced a finance contribution of up €3,000 to help motorists purchase a new Toyota self-charging hybrid. The offer comes with 3.9 per cent APR with Flex PCP Finance, allowing for lower monthly payments.
Toyota Ireland is also offering a trade-in booster of up to €3,000 for non-finance customers, and three years' servicing as standard for all customers.
The offers are available across all the range, and customers are encouraged to speak to Tony Burke Motors, local Toyota retailer and go online to TonyBurkeMotors.ie to see offers on individual models.
As announced last week, Tony Burke Motors is now open for sales and service.
With customer and staff safety " absolutely paramount", it has implemented a series of new measures to ensure peace of mind when visiting its dealership, including sanitisation stations, protective screens, PPE and two-metre social distancing markers.
Toyota is also offering a virtual showroom experience from the end of May which gives customers the freedom to shop at home. The features of the showroom include immersive educational videos across the full Toyota range, live video chat with Toyota sales executives, as well as trade-in valuations, and an online financing and approval tool.
Further information on the new safe measures and protocol can be found here: Hybrid leads the wayWith consumers becoming increasingly environmentally conscious and looking for ways to lower their impact on the environment, the demand for hybrid vehicles is at an all-time high, says Toyota.
"As Toyota hybrids operate in electric mode over 50 per cent of the time on average, Toyota hybrid customers make an immediate impact on lowering NOX and CO2 emissions, contributing to a better environment and creating a better future for all."
It is estimated Toyota hybrids sold in 2019 will save more than 60,000 tonnes of CO2 in their lifetime, and they are also extremely fuel efficient as well.
The Toyota Corolla Hybrid is Ireland’s best-selling car in 2020, and with a number one market position (12.4 per cent market share year-to-date ), Toyota continues to lead the country towards low emissions motoring and into electrified driving, with 87 per cent of its new car sales in 2020 being self-charging hybrids.
Toyota Ireland CEO Steve Tormey says as Ireland and the rest of the world comes to grips with its new reality, Toyota is relieved to have been able to reopen its dealerships this week.
"Staff and customer safety are our top priority and we have taken every possible precaution and safety measure to ensure this," he says.
"Our hybrid offers give motorists both a practical and an affordable option to create a healthier environment for future generations, simply by making the easy switch to a hybrid vehicle. I would like to encourage anyone interested in purchasing a Toyota hybrid to speak to a local Toyota dealer about one of the many offers that are available at the moment.
"We also offer a virtual showroom for consumers who are unable to access one of our dealerships. Here, customers are able to experience the same Toyota customer service and offers from the comfort of their own home.”
