What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Producing a festival with unlimited funds where everything that could possibly go wrong has been foreseen.
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
Dorothy Wordsworth, sister of William Wordsworth. She wrote poetry and was first to see "the host of golden daffodils” but the brother got all the credit.
Which living person do you most admire?
I’ll say Mom, if only because she doesn’t like to see her name in print.
Which is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Procrastination, but I’ll get back to you on that… sometime.
What is your greatest extravagance?
My 2012 Macbook Pro I got on sale for $300 in Australia in 2016. Still working perfectly.
What is your favourite journey?
The annual pilgrimage to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
On what occasion do you lie?
I work in PR and marketing. So of course I never have to lie.
Which living person do you most despise?
I work in PR and marketing… Isn’t everybody wonderful?
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
The App Microsoft To Do. It has changed everything.
When and where were you happiest?
Watching the Edinburgh Fireworks display at the end of every Fringe.
Which talent would you most like to have?
The ability to laugh at unfunny jokes.
What is your current state of mind?
On hold.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Seeing the curtain come down on full houses, knowing we’re fully insured.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?
A cat.
What is your most treasured possession?
I work in the arts, I can’t afford treasured possessions.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Workin’ 9 to 5, what a way to make a living...
What is your favourite occupation?
Listening to artists speak about their work.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
Humour and beards. Both of equal importance.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Humour. No beards.
Who are your favourite writers?
If I don’t mention Gerry Hanberry I won’t be let in home. His poem ‘The Earth Circles the Sun’ made me cry on more than one occasion. (Can I come in now Dad? )

If it can’t be fixed, don’t break it.
