IT BEGAN as an idea for artists to visually interpret sounds they associated with the Kinvara area, but following the Covid-19 lockdown, the theme has become much wider.
Kinvara Sounds, the latest online exhibition organised by Kinvara Area Visual Arts, is currently running on KAVA's Facebook page and will also be available in its entirety on www.kava.ie

Speaking about the exhibition, KAVA's Terri Kelleher said: "The idea was originally to be the artist's interpretation of sounds of the Kinvara area. Now, it seems it is a celebration of all the things we perhaps were taking for granted before the lockdown, or things we have come to appreciate because of such. Our members have submitted a selection of artworks that celebrate these sounds associated with their surroundings."
