Learn French online with the French Institute Galway

Keep studying French or take it up, do not let the Coronavirus stop you. The new term at the French Institute starts on May 11.

The French Institute is Galway’s French language school located in the Bridge Mills since 2005. It has an excellent reputation thanks to the dedication of its teachers who are qualified native speakers with extensive teaching experience.

All classes for the spring term have successfully continued at the institute during the lockdown, through blended learning, with a mixture of video conferencing and e-learning. Students have been delighted with the continuity offered, and are very happy with the classes provided.

The French Institute is offering a six-week term of online summer courses which are both educational and fun.

The institute proposes courses for adults, with four levels: beginners, improvers, intermediate, and advanced. The classes will be either in the morning or the evening. They can be a good preparation for when you are able to travel again.

The institute is also offering a special online course for secondary school students, to help with schoolwork and exams throughout these uncertain weeks, with second-to-none teaching and support by highly knowledgeable and experienced teachers. These classes will take place one afternoon a week.

The institute also proposes classes for children (fun introduction to French, five to nine years; and preparation for secondary school, nine to 12 years ). These will take place twice a week for half an hour, as this is the best format to keep children engaged and actively learning.
