TribeTones cover Kodaline to 'send a little positivity' to Galway

Choir obeyed social distancing and came together virtually to record song

GALWAY MUSICIANS and singers have been remarkable and resilient in how they have continued to make music and song despite the lockdown, and the latest example is from The TribeTones choir.

The choir took 'Wherever You Are' by chart topping Irish band Kodaline, and via digital technology, with each choir member remaining in their own home, performed the song together:

"In true virtual choir style, we borrowed this wonderful song from Kodaline, and adapted a few of the lyrics," says choir director and founder, Sean Rowland. "'Wherever You Are' lends itself superbly as a reminder that it doesn't matter that we can't be together in the physical sense. What matters is that we are there with each other in spirit. We hope this sends a little love and positivity to you all."
