Athenry Credit Union has launch its inaugural amateur photography competition with €500 in prizes up for grabs. The competition is open to all ages, whether you are a budding amateur photographer with a camera or if you just enjoy taking some photographs on your phone or smart device.
Athenry Credit Union is encouraging entrants to take the time to review their cameras and devices to find previously taken photos, or if safe to do so and within the current Government Guidelines explore their surroundings to find that perfect photo.
Philip Lavelle Marketing Officer for Athenry Credit Union said they are delighted to launch their inaugural photography competition and hope to continue with this annually.
“This competition has been in the planning stages since early this year, in the current times we feel this competition may suit many to get involved, as all ages have more free time available to them to explore, be creative and reflect on past photography moments and memories.
“Anyone who enters the competition will be in with a chance of getting their hands on one of five amazing prizes on offer. We are encouraging people to take some time to explore the beauty in your current environment and to reflect on previously taken photography moments for that photo to enter”.
You do not need to be a member of Athenry Credit Union to enter the competition. Anyone who intends to participate in the competition, Athenry Credit Union requests that they strictly adhere to the up-to-date Government Guidelines.
