The Connacht Property Auction expands online auctions

IAM Sold Property Auctions, which runs the Connacht, Leinster, Munster, and Northern Ireland Property Auctions, is implementing some business changes but continues to offer properties for sale via its online auction platform. Company director Patrick Folan commented: “We are very conscious of safety measures needed for staff and the general public, and we have put in place measures with staff working remotely and externally with our network of 300 partner auctioneers across the country.

"Our online auction platforms will run monthly as normal in Connacht, Leinster, Munster, and Northern Ireland," he added. "All properties will be offered by online auction and the public auctions have been suspended until it is safe to resume. We have an online auction taking place each day where there was a public auction planned, so it will have no impact on the dates properties can be offered.”

The companies have spent many years developing their own online auction platform and have three full-time developers constantly working and improving the platform. The online auction platform allows interested parties to download legal documents, raise legal queries with the solicitors, and bid on properties, and allows for contracts to be signed - all without the need for human interaction. Mr Folan added: “We feel our online platform is ideally suited in the current situation allowing properties to transact quickly and efficiently all online. Our unique offering allows to expedite the sale for buyer and vendors and allow for transactions to take place at this difficult time.”
