GALWAY SINGER-songwriter Maija Sofia, and County Kerry singer-songwriter, Junior Brother, who is signed to Galway label, Strange Brew Records, will take part in a live stream concert on Friday.
Islander presents…Live from Home, which will also see performances from John Francis Flynn and Anna Mieke, takes place on Friday March 27 from 8pm to 10pm via https://www.facebook.com/events/680481032722009 as well as from the artist's own Facebook pages.
The schedule is Maija Sofia (8pm ), John Francis Flynn (8.30pm ), Anna Mieke (9pm ), and Junior Brother (9.30pm ).
Viewers are being encouraged to donate whatever they can, especially as the artists have if you can, as these artists have lost weeks of work, with numerous events and gigs cancelled owing to the coronavirus restrictions. Donations are via GoFundMe (https://bit.ly/2UeHN4Z ) and will be split evenly and go directly to the artists.
