THE RISE and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars, David Bowie's breakthrough 1972 album, a culturally significant artwork, and a turning point in popular culture, will be performed in Galway.
The Starmen, the new Bowie tribute band - Conor Geoghegan (vocals ), Michael Joyce (guitar ), Eoin O'Shaughnessy (bass ), Martin Finn (keyboards ), Cathal O'Leary (drums ) - will perform the album in its entirety in the Róisín Dubh's upstairs bar this evening from 8pm.
The band will be joined by Stephen Sharpe and guests. Admission is €10 on the door or www.roisindubh.net All proceeds will go towards the Australian Red Cross.
