CHRIS KENT has children and therefore feels guilty about his contribution to global over population. He is coming to terms with being called “well trained” for carrying out basic tasks. He also loves his clothes horse.
Chris will be getting deep and discussing his utter domestication in his latest show, Christy Doesn’t Live Here, which comes to the Town Hall Theatre studio on Thursday March 26 at 8.30pm.
The Cork comedian has become one of the most admired comics since he emerged onto the stand-up scene in 2009, winning the Bulmers Nuttin’ But Funny competition. In 2010 he won the Comedy Smack Down Award at the Galway Comedy Festival. His 2012 solo show, Plugged In was described by The List as "breathing new life into anecdotal comedy". The following year he supported Bill Burr in Vicar Street, and has since appeared on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and on shows on RTÉ.
