Genius, bonkers, it's Ross Browne

Comedian to headline the Comedy KARLnial at the Róisín Dubh

ROSS BROWNE has been called a “genius” by Jason Byrne and “utterly bonkers” by Lucy Kennedy. Galway can make up its own mind when he headlines the Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh.

Ross Browne plays the Comedy KARLnival on Tuesday March 10 at 8pm. He is best known for his appearances on RTE’s The Fear, Cork’s 96fm, or from his online videos which have enjoyed millions of views.

Support is from Padraig Williams, who Bunbury Magazine described as "a true storytelle....brilliantly satirical...biting and sarcastic", and Sinéad Quinlan, a winner of Stand Up and Be Funny, RTÉ’s national stand up competition, on the Ray D’Arcy Show.

The special guest MC will be Edwin Sammon. Winner of the Edwin Tedfest Best Comedian Award 2011, he has since supported Jason Byrne, Phil Jupitus, and Ardal O'Hanlon, and is best known for his role as Fr Gabriel in the award winning sitcom Bridget and Eamon, and for co-presenting Republic Of Telly.

Tickets are €6 in advance from Róisín Dubh; www.roisindubh.net; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or €8 at the door.
