Coláiste Néifinn is an established Irish college in Athenry, Glenamaddy, Castlebar, and Ballina. The college caters for the learning of the Irish language for 12 to 18-year-olds. It is a very successful coláiste Gaeilge with students attending from all around the county.

Coláiste Néifinn introduced an intensive Leaving Cert course for senior students. This allows more contact time with teachers for the preparation of the Leaving Certificate course (places are offered on a first come, first served basis ).
The coláiste is now enrolling for its two courses in Galway — the Glenamaddy course will run from June 22 to July 3 inclusive, and the Athenry course will run from July 6 to 17 inclusive. The course costs €230.
