HARPIST AND concertina virtuoso, and multiple All-Ireland Fleadh winner, Holly Geraghty, will play the penultimate Music In The Town Concert Series in Athenry.
Geraghty is from Ballindine, south Mayo, steeped in a rich musical tradition. She toured Britain, North America, and Canada with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann; has played such international festivals as the Rudolstadt Folk Music Festival, Germany's biggest folk festival, and the Shetland Traditional Music Festival. She also holds several All-Ireland accolades including the senior harp and concertina title.
The show takes place this Saturday at The Town Café at 6pm, where Holly will be joined by violin and viola player Anna Falkenau. Doors are at 5.30pm. Tickets €10/8/5. Children under six go in free.
