Fro release new single 'Sitting Duck'

Galway band's new song 'paints a picture of a circus of animals in your head telling you you’re no good'

GALWAY BAND Fro release their second single, ‘Sitting Duck’, tomorrow [Friday February 28], with the track dealing with topical themes of depression and self doubt.

The song was recorded and self-produced by the band - Conor King, Jack Sinnott, Naoise Jordan Cavanagh, and Aran Casey - allowing them to experiment with creative production techniques. It features winding saxophone melodies, and distorted guitars and vocals.

"It paints a picture of a circus of animals in your head telling you you’re no good," said the band. "It’s a song about not bothering to do anything to make my life better, and knowing it won’t be better until I do.”

The band's third single, ‘Stacy’ is out on March 21, and will be followed by launch gigs in the Róisín Dubh [Saturday March 28 at 8pm] and The Underground in Dublin.
