A trilogy of views on Galway

“THERE ARE always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.” So said American landscape photographer Ansel Adams, and this idea forms the backdrop to a new exhibition which opens this week.

The Trilogy is the title of a new photographic exhibition by Ronan Bree, Enda Scahill, and Conor Ledwith which will be officially opened in the Providence Market Kitchen, St Augustine Street on Saturday at 8pm. The guest speaker will be Donal Taheny.

The images will be displayed on various printing media, allowing the photographs to take on an extra visual dimension. Galwegians will recognise many of the scenes in the images, including Connemara, the Galway coastline, as well as some city scenes being represented.

Ronan, Enda, and Conor met at the local Galway Camera Club. The exhibition runs until May 16. For more information see www.photogalway.com
