THE CONTEMPO spring masterclasses will take place on May 2 and 3 in NUI Galway and will be open to string players of grade four and over.
The classes will allow young people from Galway to learn from first-class professional musicians in a fun group scenario. Bogdan, Ingrid, Andreea, and Adrian will each take a group of students and work with them in a violin, viola, or cello masterclass.
Students, who wish, are also invited to submit their individual pieces, which will be considered, and time allowing, may also be used as part of the process.
Each one-day course costs €85 and will include two masterclass sessions per student, lunch, and an hour to allow everyone enjoy playing together.
