Show Me The Funny grand final

11 emerging comedians to compete for that slot at the Electric Picnic Comedy Tent

AFTER FIVE hotly contested heats, the grand final of Show Me The Funny at The King's Head takes place on Monday February 24, with 11 of the freshest new comedic talents vying to win the top prize.

The finalists are Ian Burke, Rob Flynn, Eddie Mularkey, Jess Collins, Shawn King, Fiona Malone, John O'Keefe, James Cadden, Ben Morgan, Thomas Howarth, and Mike Morgan.

The overall winner will win a slot at this year's Electric Picnic comedy tent along with two weekend VIP tickets for the already sold out Stradbally extravaganza in September. The two runners up will receive slots and tickets for the All Together Now Festival and the Vodafone Comedy Carnival. "The judges at the final would find it easier to pick the next Taoiseach than the winner of SMTF," says MC Gerry Mallon, "such is the high calibre of acts that have made it through to the final."

Tickets are €5 and are available at the door which opens at the earlier than usual time of 7.45pm. Early arrival is advised as spaces are limited.
