g hotel’s beauty therapist wins ‘Massage Therapist of the Year’ award

A beauty therapist at the five star g hotel has clinched a prestigious award.

Irene Kenning was awarded “Massage Therapist of the Year” by the Irish Beauty Professional Association at its annual beauty industry awards held recently at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.

The event, often referred to as the Oscars of the beauty industry, was hosted by Brendan Courtney, the presenter of RTE’s Off the Rails show.

Ms Kenning, who is from Co Mayo and who is a graduate of the Coen Cantrell College of Beauty Galway, says she was thrilled to accept the coveted award on behalf of the hotel and to be acknowledged by her peers for her skills and abilities.

“Winning this award is both an honour and a pleasure. We constantly strive to provide the ultimate spa experience and receiving such an accolade is gratifying for the entire team at the g.”

The talented therapist, who trained in an exclusive selection of massage techniques, has built a reputation for herself as one of the leading therapists in Ireland and creates the ultimate spa experience at the g, according to the hotel.

“This is not the first award for Ms Kenning. In 2008 she was chosen as the ‘Most Highly Commended’ Spa Therapist 2008 by IPBA and was part of the team that won the Irish Beauty Destination Spa of the Year award 2002.”

To celebrate its recent success the g has launched a new Radiance Treatment Collection . Begin your spa journey at the thermal suite before indulging in a full body salt and oil exfoliation followed by an illuminating ESPA Skin Brightening Facial. Then conclude your unique spa experience at the roof top relaxation area and Zen Garden where you will be served a refreshing g smoothie and delicious handmade chocolate treat, all from €105 per person.
