The Galway City Museum is organising a host of history, language, and folklore courses for spring and autumn - the first of which will be a French language course for adults and pre-teens.
The French courses have been organised in conjunction with the Galway-Lorient Committee and will run every Saturday from April 25 to May 16. The courses are aimed at beginners and improvers and cost €50 for the four weeks, culminating with a crepe making workshop on May 16.
The museum is also taking bookings for history, language, and folklore courses, including a six week introduction to Irish history and courses on traditional basketmaking, dress making, and Aran knitting.
