International speaker, adventure athlete and co-author of Making it Happen Mark Pollock will be the guest of honour at Network Galway’s networking luncheon at the Westwood Hotel on Friday May 1 at 12.30pm.
The acclaimed motivational speaker draws on his life experiences after losing his sight to inspire others to achieve their dreams.
A frequent guest on television and radio chat shows worldwide his book challenges excuse making behaviours and encourages people to identify their goals.
His central philosophy is that the power of decision making is the key to taking control in personal and business matters.
Áine Kilgallon, president of Network Galway, says his inspiring story combined with his excellent communication skills make him an “extraordinary presenter”.
“By using his experience of overcoming incredible challenges, Mark can help people and businesses to redefine what’s possible in uncertain times.
“His courage, tenacity and integrity have inspired audiences throughout the world and are certain to offer inspiration to Network Galway members and their guests at next Friday’s lunch.”
Sponsored by the Radisson Hotel, the proceeds from the lunch will go to the ISPCC which is Network Galway’s nominated charity for 2009.
Tickets for the event, which comprises a champagne reception followed by a three course meal, cost €40 for members and €50 for non-members. For further information or to book online log onto www.networkgalway.com or contact Áine Kilgallon at (086 ) 6097488.
