GALWAY MUSICIANS aged between 13 and 18 are encouraged to take part in the Livefeed and Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture youth music event in Loughrea in February.
The event is aimed at those interested in songwriting, performing, audio production, sound engineering, photography, or music journalism. Ahead of the event, there will be an information day at the Loughrea Hotel and Spa this Saturday [January 25] from 11am to 2pm, which will cover the basics of putting on a music event.
Attendance at the workshop is free but places need to be booked through Tracy via [email protected]. Refreshments will be provided. Livefeed will host live music events for youth communities across Galway city and county, throughout 2020, culminating in a youth festival called Eye On The Edge, where young musicians and technicians will entertain the crowds over two days.
