O’Donnellan & Joyce auctioneers of 5 Mary Street, Galway, achieved a record year for sales in its auction, new homes, and private treaty departments. With more than 600 properties sold since January 2019, the company has recorded one of its biggest years of sales to date over the three departments, with new homes rising considerably in demand over the past 12 months and enormous demand expected to continue with the extension of the Help to Buy Scheme.

O’Donnellan & Joyce auctioneers has seen growing success in its nationwide property auction series. With more than 350 properties going under the hammer in 2019 and 80 per cent of those being sold in the room, the popular auction house has acquired a nationwide and international audience as its brings many desirable properties to the market. The company has seen a huge increase in the number of lots being offered and being sold on the day, and this is primarily due to the transparency and efficiency that comes with the auction method of sale.
