Golden Globe winning WWI drama starts screening from tomorrow

1917, the acclaimed WWI film, which this week won Best Drama Film at the Golden Globes, opens in the Pálás Cinema tomorrow.

Directed by Sam Mendes, 1917 follows two young British soldiers - Schofield (Captain Fantastic’s George MacKay ) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman ), who have been given a seemingly impossible mission - they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers, Blake’s own brother among them.
