THE CONTEMPO Quartet continues its December series of concerts with two shows next week - one in the Mick Lally Theatre in Galway city and the other in Headford.
The 3 Saturdays, 3 Kinds of Music: Christmas Special takes place in the Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane, on Saturday December 14 at 11am. A family friendly show, it will see ConTempo joined by singer-songwriter John Blek and concertina player Ciara O’Leary Fitzpatrick playing seasonal airs and festive favourites. Admission is free, but early arrival is advised.
Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover, outside Headford is the location for the next show on Sunday December 15 at 5pm. The concert is in association with the Berill Music School and will involve a varied programme. Admission is free and donations are most welcome.
