FILM SCREENINGS for mothers and babies, for the retired, a Christmas sing-along, a dog friendly brunch, a night at the ballet, and the latest Star Wars movie - it's all happening at the Pálás.
Every Friday at 10:30am, Pálás holds its Silver Screen event for the retired film fans, with tickets at the reduced price of €6 including complimentary tea and coffee before the film. This week's screening is Ordinary Love, starring Lesley Manville and Liam Neeson, about a middle-aged couple in the midst of the wife's breast cancer diagnosis.
The dedicated Parent and Baby screenings continue every Tuesday and Saturday morning with complimentary tea and coffee for parents before each screening, and a 10 per cent discount on lunch in The Merrow.
MADRA and the Pálás are joining forces for the Woofles Dog-Friendly Charity Brunch in the cinema bar, with a waffle brunch for pet owners and dog-friendly treats for their four legged companions. There will be two sittings (10am and 12 noon ) this Sunday. Admission is €15 per person. Booking is essential via 091 - 394076. All proceeds go to MADRA.
Star Wars, ballet, and Jack Skellington

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be screened at one minute past midnight on Thursday December 19 for the final chapter of the Skywalker saga. Get in the mood at the Pálás bar on Wednesday 18 from 9pm, with various surprises. The audience are encouraged to dress as their favourite Star Wars character. Tickets are via palas.ie
