Neil Delemare - End Of Watch

Comedian makes annual New Year pilgrimage to the Town Hall Theatre

NEIL DELAMERE makes his annual New Year pilgrimage to Galway to performs his new show, End Of Watch, in the Town Hall Theatre on Thursday January 16 at 8pm.

In the new show, Delamere, described as "one lean, mean, comedy killing machine” by The Herald, will tell the story of trying to buy a fancy watch for his Dad via his trademark hilarious banter and quick-witted, well-observed, comedy.

The Offaly born comic is well-known to audiences for his regular television appearance on RTÉ and the BBC. As The Irish Times said, “No TV camera could accurately measure the lightning speed of Delamere’s wit”. He returned to the Edinburgh Fringe this year where the show garnered rave reviews.

He also made his debut on BBC Radio 4’s long running series, The Now Show, as well the ever-popular The Unbelievable Truth hosted by David Mitchell. He will also appear in the third series of the mockumentary Soft Border Patrol. October 2020 will see Delamere return to the panel show The Blame Game on BBC NI. Indeed last season's run was mentioned (as well as all of its panellists ) by name in the House of Commons earlier this year.

Tickets are from the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ).
